This has not been a good week for Turkey; and for that matter, the past few months have seen the departure of some well-known Turkish figures.
Yesterday, another great statesman, politician and former Foreign Minister, Ismail Cem, lost his battle with lung cancer after a three-year struggle. He was 67 and well known for his work in trying to heal the rifts and disagreements with Greece over myriad issues of the past.
